Self-Directed and Cooperative Learning

Our overarching curricular goals in AP Language and Composition are to become more-skilled readers of prose written in a variety of rhetorical contexts, and to become more-skilled writers who compose for a variety of purposes.

In tandem with these curricular goals, we also have critically important behavioral goals: to learn how to learn and to cultivate intrinsic motivation, through both self-direction and cooperation.
